Life Straw-pump is a highly efficient water purifier that you can use to purify water, e.g. directly from a watercourse. The filter technology is based on UF (Ultrafiltering) combined with activated carbon and KDF.  The pump makes it easier to filter water for the whole family. In addition to water purification, the water purifier has a compass on top, a whistle on the handle and at the bottom there is both a magnesium ignition rod and a small knife. UF is an abbreviation for Ultrafiltering. The technology is relatively new and originates from Japan. The filter consists of thousands of small "straws" with an opening of 0.01 micrometers. The water is forced through the walls of the pipes and then travels through the pipes and out of the filter. If you then consider that a bacterium or parasite is around 5 to 8 micrometers, you understand that the filter effectively prevents microorganisms and also a lot of other particles including heavy metals, microplastics, amoebas, etc.

Activated carbon absorbs PFAS substances, chlorine and organic chemicals. Charcoal very effectively removes more than 80 different chemicals.

KDF is a pure copper-zinc alloy that is primarily used to reduce the content of heavy metals and chlorine. Also prevents the growth of bacteria and algae.
